Blacked out on Black Friday.

Never was a proponent of rising early to get a one of one deal on a 60 inch screen TV. For some that is the challenge for me... argh I am sleeping.  I tried it once, my daughter and I... she had fun and then slept from about 11am on through the evening. Now we are gearing up for our first Black Friday here at www.emeraldroast.com and praying we are ready. We have more than one of one on all of our coffees... a few of our gift baskets are a one of one ( the more pricey ones) but as for gifts of coffee you will find nothing fresher... you may find cheaper somewhere else but there will be a difference in quality, aroma and flavor. I have roasted for 14 plus years and understand the nuances of each coffee we roast. We will never over roast and throw away coffee if it not just right. God has blessed us in our endeavor and we will always remember to give back 10% to charity.  Thank you for trying us. Aristotle was a smart man. Given a choice he would have probably preferred to enjoy Emerald Roast Coffee...

As we move to close another year out we are also closing out our previous blog, CoffeetalkwithER.blogspot.com. The blog posts will still be there and attached to our new blog, EmeraldRoastCoffeeTalk.blogspot.com with the Emerald Roaster. We want to thank everyone that has followed us and believe we are truly blessed to be doing what we love. Our website is up and running, finally without the glitches of Obamacare or the moodiness of a web developer. We have designed and built our website and our branding out of necessity. In January we were left with a handful of images and artwork and no website after paying over $8,000 to have someone design and build one for us. Our take-away, never allow a web developer or anyone else (other than you) host your website on their server while they build your site. Get the hosting then give them access to the back-end with passwords not the other way around.
                                                                                                                                                                We were held hostage and left with nothing and cannot undo what was done, but like the Phoenix we have risen from the ashes and are better than we were, stronger for what we have gone through and more prepared for what lies ahead.
